Well here is the pic of the 3 hours combined of swinging. I got about 100 signals under nickle on the ace 250 but was afraid to dig to pull up another nail. have no clue what the oval thing is. I'm not sure if this is what I should have expected my first time out, especially knowing where I was.

O yea this is the second piece I found a long time ago with a radio shack MD If someone could I.D it for me that would be kool.

Sorry, I can't help you I D your finds but the medal sure is a nice find! I don't know where you have been hunting but with a new MD I'd be inclined to dig everything util I was sure what my MD was telling me. HH and keep it swinging.

Nice medal hopefully it doesn't have a curse on it. lol Maybe it has because of what you dug up with the Ace. As they say you have to dig the trash before you get to the good stuff. I would go back and dig everything I am sure you missed some good targets.

thanks everybody for your encouragement, I managed to get in 30 min after dinner tonight in my yard and found my first 2 coins , even though they were only 2 pennies I was just so excited to dig up something other than foil and nails.I'm sure it was strange for my neighbors to see my butt doing the cabbage patch after finding my first penny.

Interesting finds you have there. No idea on the medal, but I would dig all the pull tab signals, That's where the gold is at, nickels too. Way to go!
