Huge pewter token

I found this today it weighs 26.6 grams and I believe its made of pewter. The back looks like it has two guys exchanging something or shaking hands? Thanks for any help.

I dont know of anyway to clean pewter. Any ideas?

As Iron Patch mentioned. That's as good as it's going to get my friend.
I would think any more cleaning and you may lose the image completely.

The triangle on the back looks like two guys touching spears and they are standing on a line of some sort to make it look like a triangle. Also there is words on the front.

But it might not be at all but think it will be hard to figure out if not!
Only thing I do to pewter is ureathen it I have seen on some of mine that it seem to help see it better but real light with a small paint brush is what I use.

As IP said, its as clean as it will get. Its lost its surface & not built up any crude, what is left is what you got
