Huge roadtrip with little finds

This is my 3rd road trip now in 2 weeks. Today though I went all out. I hit 5 different towns and probably drove 150+ miles. Unfortunately, probably half of the banks didn't have any halves at all (though I think one was holding out on me). Of the ones that did, most were loose, and only 3 had actual rolls. I bought $150 in halves at one bank and when I carried them to the car I could see one end of all of them had been unrolled (machine rolled) meaning I got someone's dumps. I'm not even gonna bother going through them. All in all, I found 6 40%, which is pretty disappointing compared to my last finds. 25+ banks and 6 40%. On monday I hit 4 banks and got 6 40% and 2 90%. I spent about 7 hours on the road and $30 in gas. So aside from my time, I guess I broke even. One nice thing though was I took all back roads to get to the small towns, and it was very scenic and pretty. Not to mention all the sexy tellers I got to see. I'll try some other towns Monday.

But it's obvious someone has already plucked the silver out of them. I didn't want to be mean and say no thanks to the teller once I discovered they had already been searched through. I guess if I get bored I will go through them.

yep a LOT of people don't know about the 40%'s That's where I keep making my money. I have one bank that can smell a 90% coin down the street but regularly hand me rolls full of 40%'s and look at me like I'm an idiot.

Lol very well then. I'll go through them. It was kind of aggravating because in 2 towns and 14 banks most of the tellers said someone comes in and buys them all the time. I have to find this scoundrel! Kyfreebird that ain't you is it?
