Got out for a few hours today with my hunting buddy Steve (SteveJG on Tnet). We hit a new colonial spot that we had our eye on. It's not a very large site. Just one foundation and a little huntable land around it. Judging by the finds made here I would date it to around the mid to late 1700's. Here are a couple pictures of the foundation.

I decided to focus my hunting around the perimeter of the foundation. Steve climbed right into the foundation and started hunting. I won't tell you what he found but lets just say he had the better day today.
The only good finds I was able to come up with at this site were a large flat colonial button and a crotal bell (broken of course.).
After a couple of hours we changed locations and went to the site where I found the large copper with no detail and the 2 flat buttons on Sunday. I did OK here but not great. Two more flat buttons found their way into my apron. Other than the three clad quarters I picked up in the front yard and a few spoon pieces, that about sums up my day. I know...not very much right? Thats OK. Steve made up for it.
Keep your eyes peeled for his post.

Thanks for looking.......
Rob
