Hunted neighbor's yard: 37 merc and wheats
Got out today for my first real hunt with the new DFX 300.
Asked the neighbors if I could try their yard (same ones that own the hay field that coughed up those 1850s coppers)
As it turns out, they give me the go ahead to hunt and give me more info on that hay field; it was the site of an old log cabin!
Now that makes sense! I am done with the hey field now, so I will be posting the totals in a few days.
Today's hunt in their yard did not yield any real old finds, but I never get tired of the coins that got me hooked on this hobby.
Plus I am really starting to like this DFX, still getting the hang of it though.
1937 mercury dime

and cleaned

6 wheats
dates from the 40s and 50s
with 1937 to match the dime

and a little clad and cars
