Hunted out site produced my first Barber Quarter!

[wayfas4u]

Well my good detecting buddy and I have hit a spot recently that has produced a good many wheat pennies and silver dimes to the point that we considered it picked over! I went back this morning just to get out and enjoy the outdoors and dug these guys up, also turned up my first Barber Quarter - a 1909 model! I guess now I know what others are talking about when they say they have found coins in a hunted out place ..

The ring is just a plain copper ring with one seam, I see no markings.......

Very nice recoveries. Still trying to cross a Barber quarter off my list.
Congrats,
