I think I am just going to get cwr cents from now on. Except for next week because I ordered 3 boxes before I realized they would more than likely be new.

From experience, between now and mid April is when the boxes are less likely to be full of brand new coins. Keep on hunting Hunter612, don't give up, but always get cwr's when you can on top of the boxes you typically search.

I picked up a box of cents today and it was all brand new 2013, but then I went to my dump bank and scored out of the reject tray. Here is what I got:

I went through a box of nickels yesterday and the only thing I pulled out was a 1949d because the box was 98% brand new 2013.

That stinks, I picked up 2 boxes of dimes yesterday and they were both solid 2013. The new dimes did not hit my area as hard this year as they did last year but were in full force till the end of the year. The 2014 coins will be coming out as soon as early April.

Im amazed sometimes when I see how much recent date unc coin rolls sell for on ebay. I was just checking the recent sold auctions of unc 2013 nickel rolls on ebay and they are selling for as much as 2-3 times fv. The last sold auction on 12-31 was for 10 rolls of unc 2013D nickels that sold for $39.99. Two other auctions that ended on 12-19 were for 5 unc 2013P nickel rolls each and one of those sold for $26.95 and the other sold for $23.95. And on the 12-15 someone else sold a complete sealed box of 2013 nickels for $140. Just something to consider if u r an ebay seller. Or maybe u could try selling some rolls on CL for a small profit and see if u get any responses.

I have some rolls of unc 2012 nickels Ive kept because Id rather hoard even nickels than cash but hoarding too many nickel rolls can tie up my CRHing funds and I'd rather be trying to increase my silver hoard. Well good luck to both of us in our nickel hunting in 2014!
