Not sure if I'd hunt there after dark? Cool find on the old brick. I love anything OLD.

Great looking stamp on that firebrick, from what I understand, the U.S. didn't have many producers of fire brick during that time period and England and Scotland could compete with the domestic price (ten cents a fire brick) because the bricks worked nicely as ship ballast.
Stamped brick collecting is becoming popular
