I shoulda headed West, too... .Daytona was a bust for me; just a couple of dollars worth of new coins. I did, however, find a whole lot of brand new fireworks. I figure some kids were lighting them and got scared off by the cops, leaving this odd "treasure" for me to find.

Couldn't make it to Clearwater, it was bumper to bumper stopped going over the bridge to the beach as far as the eye could see.

Tried Belleair Beach, Indian Rocks, and Treasure Island, all no parking to be found, went to St Pete Beach, waited 20 mins for a parking spot. Results a lot better there, I snagged a 14K men's wedding band on 2nd target, waist deep, first 20 mins, using the new water proofed Sov GT, Sov in the water is sweet!

On way to Tampa municipal beach now to try my luck there, will hunt till sundown....

Days over with, on my way back to Orlando, found a 10k earring with what looks like diamonds but want know till I test it.

All in all not a bad day, hunt 2 beaches, lots of eye candy, ended up with 1 mans 14 k wedding band and a 10 k earring with possible diamonds plus 95 cents in clad.....

Yeah, Clearwater Beach traffic gets bad anytime after 10 a.m. From the beach cam it looked pretty crowded. Glad you did good at the other beaches.

Nice  going  treasure hunter ... Sounds like a good day other than traffic,, Its been  really  bad  getting  to the  beach  over here  ,,you have  to get there  before  10 am  or  forget about  it . I'm  holding  off  for  a  while  till  the  water  warms  up , No one  in  water  over  here =no tickets .  However ,When the gulf temp  gets  around  79 /80 degrees thats  when its  going  to  get  better ........ more  folks  in the  water = more bling  bling .... Here are the results of Saturday's hunt

I snagged a 14k men's wedding band at St Pete Beach and a 10k earring with what could be diamonds (want know till tested) at Tampa Municipal Beach Saturday. Starting to see a lot of people back in the water.

Hey TH. Got this too late. Would have enjoyed hunting with you. We were out on clearwater beach lastnight 11 pm until 2am, but only got 1 junk ring and $3 in change. 2 other hunters out there already when we got there (from tthe looks of it-they cleaned up).

Maybe next time.
