I read these letters as N S U. When making monograms, the letter closest to you is the first letter. The N is closest and overlaps the S. The S overlaps the U. I’ve designed monograms and cut them on guns. They are a real pain to design. That one is well designed.

In that condition, more like VG money due to the obverse wear. Both coins are key S mint dates though. Makes for a great day!
