Hunting the Beach in Atlantic City NJ

I was wondering if anybody knows what the regulations are regarding metal detecting the beach in Atlantic City NJ. I know its not part of the National Park Service but I cant seem to find any info for or against (official info). Any help would be appreciated.

I know many people who detect there (and do quite well) and as far as I know, it is not a problem.

I think that is a pretty old beach. I would not be surprised if it were haunted.

It is haunted by crackheads and whores.
