What's new

I am new to Md (2weeks). looking for treasure. Found.

Not sure what to think.
I recieved my 2nd detectore in the mail thinking I might find a outlaw treasure. 2 weeks deep I found 12 silver morgans 1879-1885. I dont know what to do?!

best thing to do would be to post some pictures so you have a better chance of people believing you

2 weeks deep? Unique expression. Would love to read how they were found, leather pouch under a rock, in a jar buried under a tree? Soon as you figure out how to post pics would love to see them.

I was and am still in shock. But after going back a dozen times I’m starting to notice trees that look off. Now I’m looking into the kgc. I am naive and wish that I would have studied the placement of the 13 coins. As I believe there to be more treasure in the area. I am heading back with a smaller coil as I have heard it would go deeper. Any truth to that that you know? For the record I have a manticore.

Well done, and welcome :occasion14:! As a friendly tip, I'd recommend keeping a log of what you find as well as when and where. It'll help you narrow down productive areas and time frames.

Absolutely AMAZING FINDS !!!! Please tell us more on how you found them ? What detector were you using ? What brought you to the area to hunt ?

Also welcome to Treasurenet :)

The larger the coil, the deeper the depth. A small coil is best for trashy areas to better separate signals.
