If you're looking for hard cider also called applejack I believe.....the apple orchards owners sometime produce it for sale during the harvest season I believe.....it has a pretty good kick probably 10/12% range similar to wine.

I seem to recall it's made with the windfall apples.

Bill, with the marvels of modern engineering, we no longer have to wait for the fall to have windfall apples or apple orchards for that matter. You just have to have a chemist that has a flavor you are interested in, add it to an alcohol based liquid in the proper percentage and viola, Hard Cider, Blueberry Beer, and stuff like that. I don't know how they do it eggackery but they do.
