Those trucks eats diesel and that=increases in shipping costs.
No fault of the owner operator who has no control over the traders.
The ticker tape dictates us all, like it or not, a lawyer has more credibility than the stock market commodity market traders.

Hi everyone!
Maybe you want to know how the war in Ukraine affects Poland?
As with you, the price of fuel was very, very high, on Friday I was buying diesel for PLN 6.59 per liter today at diesel stations it cost PLN 7.35 (1 USD = 4.65 PLN) Gasoline is a bit cheaper but its price is close to PLN 7 per liter at more expensive stations.
It's damn expensive and I know it's only the beginning of astronomical prices.
We do not give up and help our neighbors, over a million people from Ukraine came to Poland. In my immediate vicinity, several hundred people have stayed in hotels and private homes, EVERYONE helps and gives what they have.
I have been living for several years, I know Poland from the times of socialism and transformations, but I have not seen anything like that, as a society we are not wealthy, but I am convinced that in the current situation the vast majority of Poles will start the last jersey for Ukraine from behind their backs.
Their freedom and ours are worth more than a gallon of gasoline, we'll stick to it and we'll do it.
Pozdrawiam Was wszystkich!

i do not care what those stats are saying I do know what we were paying for gas just before the current administration came into power and we were under $2 per gallon in fact all the gas stations in the phoenix area and all surrounding towns were at $1.89 per gallon of gas some of the towns east of Maricopa county was lower then that two days after Bidon took office gas shot to $2.89 per and trust me I keep receipts and know exactly what I pay for gas they can make stats look any way they want they can inflate or deflate any way they want until you slap facts in their face

Not disputing that it was just under 2.00 in certain areas of the state on election day (the stats were a statewide average compiled from 2,269 Arizona gas stations), what i'm disputing is that it jumped up over a dollar within 2 days after the election, that is patently false, in fact, it dropped slightly in the days and weeks after the election.

Like I said those stats they can state what ever they want on them and I know exactly what gas prices did here I can go back in my quick books and tell you exactly what I paid for gas 5 years ago on a certain day those stats are not correct. I made drives from east side of Arizona to the phoenix area the west part of Arizona follows what California is doing but in phoenix and all eastern portion of the state was under $2 per gallon I even remember telling my wife to look at how much gas rose in a 2 day period after bidon took office

Hi,
I don't know what to write to you except that my yesterday's post is out of date, the price at gas stations changes several times a day. You can find the "old" price, but generally hard to tell - it is very expensive despite the fact that a month ago the government temporarily lowered the fuel tax.
In Poland, a lot of cars run on LPG, it was the cheapest fuel (recently PLN 2,65 per liter) now PLN 3,15 but the worst thing is diesel.
Europe is talking about an embargo on Russian oil and natural gas, so really high prices are still ahead of us.

Refugees, I talked to a friend who works in the hotel, 330 people live with them, mostly women and children. It is one hotel and there are many of them in the area, but a large number of refugees have been taken home by ordinary people. A friend says that these women help with the hotel work because "they don't want to be a burden".
Children can attend Polish schools, they are already organized, how to call it? Preparatory lessons?
Refugees are provided with free transport, medical and legal care, these people came here really empty-handed.
There is a small linguistic difference between Poles and Ukrainians, which makes communication easier, although I know Russian which is even more similar to Ukrainian, I speak Polish to them - I won't speak Russian.
I have two clothing stores, for these kids we offer the best, the most fashionable, so that none of them feels worse than kids from Poland. He cheats them a bit by giving them lower prices because I see that these women feel bad for getting something for free.
Someone is "cutting an onion" when I think about it ...

Today 1 USD = 4,75 PLN, 10 kg propane cylinder 85 PLN but the Slavs are tough people, we can stand it

Heartwarming to hear the report of the generosity of the Poles, thank you for it. Those of us who have a heart must help one another. Ones without hearts need a transplant. It is difficult for me to understand how some people can be so cruel to others and I am sad about it.
