Statistics from the Biden Administration, posted thru rose tinted glasses.

On average gas is up .45 cents a gallon this week in Florida. I paid $3.89 for gas 2 days ago, who knows what it is today.

Everything listed for here on Gas Buddy is $4.10 & Above

Food prices are/will be skyrocketing too, especially with Russia being one of the "bread baskets" of the world.

The question is, rather than just grumble about it, how do we change our mindset and actions to benefit from this? Whenever markets do this, people in the know, are able to profit off it. Is it only the wealthy who can take advantage of it or can the average Joe too?

I mean to a degree, i have been benefiting the past few years as costs have risen. I own a CNC machine shop and all machine shops are swamped and backed up, which allows me to better pick and choose the most profitable jobs and charge more. But there must be other ways.

Must change my mindset.

What's the saying, "While most do nothing more then complain, wise men cash in"

Well here's a little history , we all like history right? back in the day when we had the ronna lockdown . we were told to stay home and most everything was closed anyway. during this shelter in place boondoggle gas prices local to me in Cumberland Va went as low as 89 cents a gallon and stayed below a buck for weeks .GOD I miss those mean tweets and a lower cost of living.

Nothing wrong with gas @$1.89 a gallon here in Florida either. Not long ago it was. We could be there in a year if they let the energy companies get to work. They are not even lending money to energy companies trying to find new wells etc. We have enough energy in the country to be totally energy independent. 2 years ago we were, our situation is self inflicted by parties who most definitely are not looking out for the interests of our country.

Price today here in Middle TN is $3.89 .
I own a Ford Explorer 4 x 4 with a 4.6 L v8
26 gallon tank
It will be a cold day in Hello before I fill up

I've got an explorer too, the key is to keep it full.
It's currently $4.299 here in Massachusetts, I'm old enough to remember the gas lines of the early 70's.
