I can't put that in my pipe and smoke it

Some dumb indian broke it before it was finished. I usually don't post something twice (posted on a different site) but since I'm bored and I never posted this here before, thought I would. This is the closest I have come to finding a pipe (really really want to find a complete pipe before I die). Some people have all the luck when it comes to pipes (STEVE) oh sorry I'm not supposed to include you in my posts. Anyway dug this about 8 years ago .

That is a nice piece it show's work in progress, to bad it was broken before it was finished. But it is still a great find.

Judging from the curvature of the stem or body part of the Pipe I would say it was more than likely a small Platform Pipe. If it had been a Elbow Pipe the stem part would have been relatively close in size to the bowl and would not have had the downward slope to it. Just my opinion.

It looks like red Ohio Pipestone. Is that what it is?

Still cool even though it was broke. I to would like to find a nice pipe. A friend has a 20'' long tube pipe he dug in the seventys. I said it looked like a bong. He said it was packed with tobacco. I had not seen anything like it. Maybe we all will find a nice one someday
