I could use some help with a question.

I see a lot of people hunting in rivers and the like for things like bottles and so on. Do you need to get permission for this or are water ways different? There are good sized rivers to walk in near me and it would be nice in the summer.
Any advice is welcomed

If you can access the river, stream, creek on public property then you can search it.
