I finally got my new MXT PRO & pneumonia !

What a week it's been . I haven't hunted since finding the large cent do to coming down with pneumonia

. In the mean time I finally got my new MXT PRO that I have now saved for of 8 months of clad finds ! It's been just sitting on the fireplace while I try to get better . This morning I felt up for turning it on in the back yard and going over some targets . It wouldn't work right

. It would over load every time I would turn up the gain . I got on the phone to Whites to transfer the 2 year warranty and see if they could help . As it turns out the 12 inch coil was no good ! They are sending me a brand new one and in the mean time I can use my Super 12 off my M6 !
This weekend I'm hoping I feel up for a hunt so my Son can now use the M6 with the 9.5 coil and I'll have the MXT PRO ! Can't wait to see what we will find !

Similar thing happened to me in October 1998 when I got my White's Spectrum. I couldn't wait to use the thing, and I got severe bronchitis the very same day it arrived. It then proceeded to rain heavily for probably 4 days afterwards. Get better soon. Coins are waiting patiently!

Get well soon Glen, you have to maintain your title as "King of Rings". Can't wait to upgrade, but I won't be doing it on clad finds yet. Perhaps on Gold ring finds, but not clad. I can't help but think that I'm missing stuff because I'm using a low end machine. Drink lots of liquids (Whiskey and Cabernet) and call me in the morning.

Congrats on the new detector, better headphones will allow you to hear those deeper whisper targets. I used to have the headphones your using now then I got the white's koss headphones and what a difference they make on the really deep whisper targets. HH

Hey - Don't mess with that. Pneumonia is SERIOUS business. I had it when I was 8 months pregnant with TWINS, and fractured a rib from the coughing... ended up in Intensive Care for four days... Now... I know you're not pregnant (!) but my point is, it's NOTHING to take lightly... Be a good patient. Do what your wife tells you! Be a good doobie!

I had some stuff that we just could not get right with my XLT. I sent it off and it came back the same.
So I call Whites and they took it back and sent me out a new one. And a few more play toys to.
That let me know that this is a very good Co. they stand behind there stuff.

You got it ! I always try and listen to my wife , TRY is the key word here .
My Sister has had it 5 times in her life when she was young , this is my first time and I'm 44 . I got it from my Son . He had it three weeks ago . It's been one of hell of a month .

Don't know that yet . Tomorrow will be my first hunt with it .
I know my M6 with a 12 inch coil has found silver dimes as deep as 9 inches .
