I had to Push my way through Brirers to get to this Site.

My first find was on top of the ground.
These 2 Lids. Both Measure 11" by 11"
and say KELVINATOR on the handles.
They remind me of the type of lid
that would go on an Ice Cream Cooler
where you remove the Lid to Take scoops out.

!Kelvinator2.jpg
!KELVINATOR.jpg

There were Bottles & Glass laying all over also.
I wished I had taken a Sack along in.
All I had was My Finds Apron & 2 Hands
to carry my Detector, Digger & all my finds.
& Knowing I was going to be Trudging through Briers
on the way out didn't Help.

I couldn't resist this even though it's not real old.
It's Blue Glass.

and these MISSION BEVERAGE Bottles

The Nicest one says it is from TAMAQUA PA
& COMISAC'S NAT'L. BEV. CO.

The Other Ones say MISSION OF CALIFORNIA
LOS ANGELES, CALIF. U.S.A.

And I believe are from the 50's

I dug this up thinking it was a Coin,
It appears to be Copper.
I don't know if it's part of a Knife Sheath.
Or Money Clip, Or ?

!WATS.jpg
!WATS_it.jpg

And I did dig 2 Wheats.
1947 & 1945
No silver today.

!WhEaTs.jpg

Some unusual Spikes.
The one on the Left is Hammered Flat like a Rail Road Spike.
and 5 1/2" Long
The one on the Right Is Round but also Appears to be Hammered
and is 7" Long

!SpikeS001.jpg

And of Course My Favorite Find of the day
this Very Large Rail Road Lock.
The Flap is Rusted Fast,
And it looks Like I'll be doing Electrolysis on it
for a year ;D
But at 4 1/2 Inches Tall & 3" Wide
Makes Me VERY HAPPY.

I took bags along to Carry more Bottles, But for some reason
I just was too Lazy to carry them out.
I guess they just didn't look as good Today :D

I did Find 2 Mugs, But broke the one when I tossed
both to the side to pick up later
:P

Also decided to take this BOYD'S Jar Lid Porcelain Liner.

And This JAR
Cant Quite Read the Lid but I think it says SHASTA & CREAM
The Brand Signature & the rest I can't read.

My only other Finds for the day were
on an old Road that runs through the Grove.

Dang...

So that lock was in electrolysis for what about 24 hours...it looks like a pretty dramatic change to me...

Great quarter...She is in beautiful shape...

Nick

Thanks All !

Sorry NICK, I should Explain.

I only have it in Electrolysis when I'm here & Awake.

My Estimate at this point would be about 15 Hours.
So Far.

Tonight Will Probably be the Last, Then I will Spray
it good in the Morning With WD-40 once I'm sure it's Dry.
And Put it in My Display.

Hey Jeff,

My offer still stands. If you don't like going alone, I can be there almost anytime. You can teach me, and I can give you comic relief.

Erik, I would welcome the company, but for this I'm afraid it's too
late in the year. in Feburary, I had to purchase a $100.00
permit to be on the land. and they won't be selling more till next year :(

No TreasureTales it's just a glass Mug.
