1. Do a specific gravity test as described by Armchair Detective. (use grams and centimeters.
Note: volume can be calculated by L X W X H in centimeters
Density is measured in grams per cubic centimeter.

2. Drill it and do metal tests as described online using methods that will become clear.
Drilling will give immediate color info. If GOLD in color, call me! :)

Whenever messing w lead ya have to worry about lead poisoning. As a kid, we used to melt down lead in my mother's pans and pour in mold to make new sinkers...May explain a LOT about me as a student!!! lol
 
Is it lead? Did you drill it? :confused:
