I found what I think is a coffee percolator in an old one room school house in Pa. It holds 4 cups water although it says 6? Anyone ever seen one of these and I think it’s missing something?

This is an early 20th century device known as the Tooter-balustrade. It appears its zircon-encrustation has worn off and it appears to be missing the blivot pin. So, you won't be able to tune it up.
Got a pinch of that bud for a brother?
