I Found TreasureNet again and I'M BACK..!!! I've Missed you all. :-)
Hiya all in detector land and to anyone who might remember me.
hehehe.
Well i'm finnaly back with ya on TreasureNet.
I haven't been on here for nearly a year, and i have to say i've missed you guys and gals LOADS too.!!!
I'm affraid i Outgrew my Ace 250 then lost interest and enthusiasm as ( Stupid me didn't do enough homework on which machine to buy b4 i got it.).
Don't get me wrong the ace 250 is REALLY a great little machine as many of you know from my past posts, i had alot of success with it, but it couldn't do what i wanted it too. Which isn't really my poor little Ace's fault, it's just i'm a fast learner and as it was my first training machine, i outgrew it quicker than i thought i would. Hence the reason, i'm now looking at catching up with the big boys toys with a better and more versatile machine.
So Guys and Gals if you can spare this ol Brit a few minutes of time, i would really appriciate any feedback / Info & commments regarding my new future machine. I have decided to go with Minelab this time, and the 2 models i'm thinking about are the Sovereign GT or the new X-terra 70. ( Possibly up to the Quattro.?? )
I love the look and operations of BOTH machines but i'm still on somewhat of a budget but don't really want to expand up as far as the Quattro or higher just yet. ( There is only so much my poor little brain can take in.!!! hahahaha ) So I think that one of these 2 machines would be my next best step up. Please help if you can.
Another reason for not doing my homework B4 buying the Ace 250 was that i didn't find the TreasureNet Site until after i had pay for my Ace 250 and it was in shipping. ( That'll teach me eh.?? ) hahahaha.
As some of you might remember, i live in Tenerife and i'm surrounded by nothing but BEACHES, So 95% of all my detecting at the moment will be beach hunting. But as you probably already know the Poor little Ace, Don't like WET SAND, and that's the stuff i have PLENTY OF. I also want it be be good at Gold NUGGET hunting too. As i'm planning a 3 month trip to the Good ol USA to do some prospecting and want to take my new toy with me to do it. So it has to be GOOD for both types of Hunting. What do you recon folks.
Any help on this will be greatly recieved.
Anyway people, i really hope you've had LOTS and LOTS of success in the last year, and that 2008 is being Good to you with lots of Great finds too. I also hope that a few people remember me from way back yonder.
? wish wish. :-)
Also i would like to thank the few people who sent me birthday wishes and messages on my birthday in July last. It was really nice of you all to think of me.
I have really missed you all LOADS and now i've had that little spark of inspiration again, so hopefully i'll be on here more often again like i used to be, with posts & Photos, and on the chat page too.
Anyway, this is just a short note to let you all know the RING-KING is back and out for GOLD again.!!! hahahaha.
So i really hope to hear from my old freinds again.
All the very best of love and luck to each and every one of you all, and happy hunting y'all. hehehe
Byeeee for now,
