5 minute hunt in my tiny backyard in between meetings yields a silver-ish heart pendant. Not real silver or gold, but is tied to family history. My grandparents built the house I live in, so I emailed the pic to my mom and aunt who grew up here. My aunt's response to my question of if she recognized it: "Yes, and I think they were blue stones and it was Mama Marie’s [My Grandmother] necklace. Your mom may remember more because she is SO much older." Sibling rivalries never die! LOL I've marked the spot and will check for stones after the coming snow melts away.

Love it when there is a story behind a find, especially when its your own family!

Kool find an story,Id get a sifter and as you said, find the stones after the snow melts!

Thanks... I'll probably need a very tiny sifter to catch the stones. But it makes sense that they'd be in there.

That's a cool back yard find there.maybe you can find the stones.good luck.

Great Find man..Even better you can tie it to family, I think thats better than silver or gold!

That's a fine keepsake! I hope you find the stones Grant. Best, Erik
