I just found my first gold ring

I've been metal detecting for a few months and I've found some interesting old things but mostly I just come home with worthless crap Today I found my first gold ring and I thought I would share it with you. It reads 16k inside and it looks rather light colored, so I'm guessing its white gold or platinum.
