Men of northern ancestry have certain muscles that allow them to "more fully retract". Males of ancestry nearer the equator tend to "dangle" to stay cool. This is the origin of the myth of the "big" black guy.

I used to push the ice away from the shore on inland lakes to be able to detect deeper though I covered the same areas in the fall.

That's an interesting theory :icon_scratch: and makes sense too. Too bad Darwin wasn't around to debate this one. I bet if some of the gals chimed in on this discussion it could really take off. :lurk:
