I have read in the past about some experiences some will have buying bags of halves. It seems like the tellers are cherry pickin them when someone comes in and tries to buy the whole bag. My idea would be for us to buy them when they are close to being filled up and let the tellers know that we would be putting in some of our own collection just to get the bag. That in return would keep the tellers from cherry pickin when the bag is off the coin counter. I've read on here about an experience one had that the teller had to count the coins in the bag out of view maybe she pulled out the silver and replaced it with clad. The guy ended up with zilch which doesn't make since.
Another questionable rule to CRH is dumping, rather than us the coin counter just have them in rolls and turn them in. Sealed bags of halves seemed like the best return it makes any CRH off limits to it until its full and they cannot be cherry picked by tellers until its off the machine....just from my understanding.
