Lol theres a about 5 of us regulars that hit the chat every afternoon and that tends to be about the max. Kelly's first day in the chat and there was more people then i've seen in years. I wonder why....

So does the chat link even appear for newbies, and does it say when you click on it "you must make 100 posts first"? If so, that's probably not the way to keep the offenders off of chat. If it doesn't even appear on their screens until post #100, then newbies wouldn't even know that there Was a chat in the first place, and the moderators have 99 posts to deal with them if they intend to be disruptive, threatening, or scam other members. In that case, the Knowledge that it takes 100 posts to get into chat would be on a need-to-know basis in order to solve the problem. (Although it is publicized in this post!) Otherwise we have strings of meaningless 1...2....3....4...5... all 25 seconds apart.
