hit my brothers customers yard this morning before we had to work. Getting permission to hunt this spot was the best move ive made yet. Metal Detecting private property is so much easier than public pounded areas. All the goodies are only like 4-6 inches down!! anyway i only had 30 minutes this morning and dug another 10 targets, 5 wheats 1911, 38,53,45, and 51 some older coppers (67 and 69) the two quarters threw me off, they were the deepest and under a root at about 5-6 inches and when i pulled them out of the hole they were smooth as can be, i was thinking LARGE CENT SPILL!!, my heart was pounding until i brought them to the hose and saw mr washington!
what the heck is a 65 and 68 washington doing so deep?
I was obsessing over the thought of silver at that place and just like i thought would happen, I sniffed out a silver in my short hunt a 56 rosie
, and the thing im most pumped about is i actually had the composure to take a pic of it before i pulled it from the hole, sorry about the quality my cellphone takes lousy pics it doesnt zoom or anything i literally had to put the phone in the hole. Thats why the hole looks so big in the pic lol. Thanks for looking and HH!!
