My wife and I started this season mid march, as soon as we could crack the ground here in Michigan. First day was 4 memorial cents and near frostbite. These pics are the pile from 3-15 to 6-01-07. I think we are doing Ok :O) If I remember the count, its around 70 bucks. A few rows of quarters, a few rows of dimes, a few rows of nickels, a Susan B, a Sacagawea and about ten rows of half eaten pennies. I think we are around 9 rings this year too. Ill try a pic of them later. Id love to see other people's totals too, see how everyone is doing for comparison. Thanks for looking. HH dave.

detectordave,

sounds like you and the woman are
having a good time.

Not much, but that clad all adds up
at the end of the year ;)

I don't really keep totals. Know this year
I have not been out that much (busy, work), not much
on the finds or enjoyment. The time will come :)

Hope you and the woman find a bunch ;D

have a good un......

looks pretty spectacular to me! I have nowhere near that much! I better get busy! ;)

sounds like a good total so far, atleast the clad pays for batteries
and a little fuel for the drive to your sites.

i started md'ing at the beginning of may and i think my clad total is around 43 bucks so far

HH

Nothing spectacular? That is freaking spectacular! :) Good clad haul there.

Man, thats a huge pile of coin fior a few months. Excellent diggin.
Keep safe...

That's a lot of clad!
I don't know totals..it doesn't stick around long enough.

Congrats!
;D

I started around the end of March...only found $66.16 so far. My wife has expressed an interest in metal detecting with me...we'll see. ;D

It looks good to me.
Looks like a lot of digging went on.

I went to this school and pulled close to 40$, mostly quarters. It was clad heaven!!!! I rolled up 50$ worth of quarters, still have 22$ . Nickels and dimes together, about 35$, 3 sac dollars, and about 400 p. I hated spending the 50$, but I needed the beach pass.

Thanx to all the parents, and kids. ;D

This is great but now buy a Tesoro Tejon so you can get all the silver and gold that was under that clad (just kidding) ;D

Really, this is impressive and by digging this coinage you were in line to find rings and other jewelry.

Bless you fellow Michigan persons and keep up the good work and keep posting!

Nice post and pictures!

Great pictures

Dave - That's a lot of coinage. Glad your able to spend time with your wife while doing your hobby. I'm still working on getting my wife to go out and try it. She loves watching "Digging for the Truth" but I'll be darned if I can get her to "Dig for the Coins" :) :D ;D

I'd say you are doing AOK. You're way ahead of us but we have limited time to MD. Keep digging!

Nice pile of clad dave, it all adds up.

Now all you need is a washington or adams golden dollar for the triple play.

Keep up the great work neighbor, good luck!

Smiles!

I have been able to hunt 4 out of the 5 months that have gone by. I average 9-10 hours a week, $60 in clad a month not counting rings and things. You are doing really well keep up the good work!

Its actually difficult to stop my wife from going....not that I would. She doesn't care to learn her XLT, read a single book on the subject, or even come to the forum. BUT! set the machine to "coin" and make sure the bullseye works, and I cant keep her home for a second. lol. Shes also found 7 rings this year! HH dave.
