I parlayed my baby gold into big boy silver!

[BigWaveDave]

Went to my lcs to get a fair assessment of my little gold earring that I found last week, my man tells me 18 bucks! Since I have no emotional attachment to the little guy, I flipped it for a big piece of Canadian Silver. Those Canucks sure know how to make a beautiful coin! Out with the old....

And in with the new!

Thanks for looking!

Ha, I remember Gulf Coast, bought a coin or two from them when I lived in Ft. Myers! Taking a vacation down there in June!

Nice swap!

The Gold earring with the diamonds was only worth $18? Real Diamonds or ?
Great silver coin!

Nice. I would have done the same.

Diamonds were so small, it didn't make a difference to either one of us. I am sure they will pat themselves on the back a bit, but I could care less.

Beautiful maple leaf silver! This was a win-win deal for both of you. Even if the stones were genuine diamonds, tiny diamonds have little resale value. More importantly, you each got what you wanted! Have Fun in the New Year! Andi

Nice trade for sure.
