Finding your first coin is a day you'll always remember !
You have a lot to look forward to ... your next oldest coin - your first Silver coin - your first 1800's coin, etc.

You might want to think about keeping detailed records of your finds from the very beginning.
It's fun to look back at your finds records and it's also a good to know if it's worth going back to a site in the future - when you get a new machine - have more experience, etc.

Hold on to your hat - the longer your in this hobby - the better it gets !

Good Hunting !

Thanks. Ya got the itch. Would really like to find older coins but maybe I’ll head into the bush or farmers fields. This was found at a old ball field

Congrats and there will be many more, I'm sure. Pro tip: spend a few hours at your local historical association or library, reading up on local histories and looking at old maps. Many places had street maps made in the later 1800's that show where old buildings were located. Some times you can find camp grounds or ball fields that no longer exist.
