I struck Gold, Emerald, & Diamonds

Waaaaa-hoooo!

I was out digging for clad last Sunday, when I get a weak signal for a nickel. I was thinking it was another pull-tab and almost did not dig. The signal was a little better than a pull-tab though. Then I remembered what all of the old timers say " Dig Everything".
I am glad I dug for that nickel. I carefully dug my standard plug as to not hurt the roots of the grass, then dug a little deeper. Something new caught my eye at about 4 inches down. Gold? Nah... it couldn't be. There aint no gold around these parts. Just trash. Probably a kids toy ring.
I pull the gold ring out and examine it closer. Hmmm, its heavier than a plastic ring. So I start rubbing off the dirt and hoping to see three little symbols. Cool, just what I was looking for "10K". I grinned as I cleaned up my first gold ring. After cleaning I saw the emerald and diamonds. I am really liking my DFX!!

that is one knock your socks off ring.. HOLEY MOLEY..and if you look at the emerald, it appears to me to be a natural emerald ( cause the coloring is not perfect, you can see kinda like flaws but not flaws if I am making any sense here) oh heck its a real emerald not enhanced or lab grown... I would be bouncing for a week on that one..

Gold, Emerald, & Diamonds in one day is what I call a hat trick! Congrad's on a great find....will you be having it appraised? It looks old to me. Please let us know the value if you do. About 3 weeks ago, I almost walked away from a nickel signal too...turned out to be my best find yet. A 14k and 7 rubies ring.

now that is a sweet dig! Bet you will dig every nickel hit you get from now on. I know I do and every so often it comes up in the form of gold. I am not really sure why unless some of the other metals used might really be nickel? Regardless, my last nickel hit was a little 14k band as well.
