I think I hit gold today?????? I need some help on this!!! updated!!!! 14k!!!!!

I just got back from the pawn shop and they did a acid test on the gold,Its 14k!!! now I can sleep better knowing its real!!!!! I tryed getting out of bed today at 7:00am and detect all day but that did not happen!!! I got out of bed at 5:00pm!!!!! I just have been exhausted from working full-time and detecting after work! I detected 1 hour today. as soon as I found the gold I put it into my pocket

I allways do that when I find something nice. I could not detect any longer knowing I had some possable gold in my pocket!!!!!!!!!! there is no stamp or markings on it

it looks like gold and it did not decompose in the ground!!! most of the fake gold items I find decompose in the ground!!!!!!! just like a zinc penny!!! whats your opinion on this

Looks like gold to me. Only way to be sure is to get it tested. A coin shop, pawn shop or jeweler should be able to test it for you. Nice find!

that is beautiful. I have found 2 gold pendants, and both of them were marked on the bail, and not on the pendant itself. Best thing to do is get it tested, as mentioned above.
