It's been almost a month since I'd turned him on!
I was even in Pa for a week and still didn't.

Finally, today, I managed to get me to go for a 3 hour "walk".
Just about the first two, I didn't have but two pennies! :dontknow:

Then, as I started to give it up, turned toward the car, swinging
nonchalantly as I went. It started, it was like I just couldn't
swing without some sort of hit! :banghead: I said, "Come on!
I just wanta go home!"

Didn't turn out too bad, I spose. :dontknow:

If I read these correctly, might be some older stuff here.

There was this button too. Some sort of design around the edge
and in the middle but I can't make it out. :dontknow:

That shiny, shiny that Blingie is defending is kind of strange.

2017 (718).jpg
2017 (719).jpg

I can't quite figure it out. It is *very* solidly made. Came out shiny,
completely non-magnetic. Not a fence cap. I don't think it's a
doorknob. :dontknow:

Anyway......I really don't think Fishy cares......

:)

Thanks for peeking folks.
Sorry for the lack of posts, just been tough for me lately.

Nice to see you got out.
For that alone congrats!

On the WBTTC....hmm, either the AT or the goodies, maybe both, didn't want you to leave.

Nice bunch of goodies!
Nice old button, shell casings, and wheat!
The silver mystery, possible shifter cap? Probably a cane topper like people said. It seems to have wear around tbe bottom edge like it rubbed against something.

Blingie maybe eyeing it for his new bed. He could curl up and sleep for the winter in it.
By the way, is that a new friend of Blingie's, come to see the Blingister's hoard of shiny shiny?
....or challenger come to reclaim the large shiny item?

Looks like Fishy has a date with a princess!

I don't think the AT was as mad at you as you thought, i think it just misses you, and those long leisurely walks with an old an trusted friend.

My money is on Blingie! One swing of his head or arm and down goes the challenger! Knocked out by Blingie's bling!

Maybe Fishy's date's blue skirt reminds him of the water.

Dollar coins sure don't hold their color long do they.

That button appears to be late 18th century, fyi.

Thanks, and as an fyi and for the experts who know much more than I about buttons.

Here's a slightly cleaned up version:

I still see no back mark, but when a relic speaks up from sooooo long ago, I believe it to
only be respectful to give it room to say what it has to say.

Maybe the design on the front is more than just another pretty design? Slight design around the
edge as well.

All opinions welcomed:
