I had stopped at my favorite dump bank and was cashing in $200 in pennies, when one of the managers stopped me to let me know that one of the cashiers had told her he had been "burdened " with a bunch of old dollar coins, 1/2 dollar coins and they were a pain to deal with. I generously agreed to "unburden" them of the coins. I got 11 Eisenhowers, not worth more than $11, but I use them for tooth fairy exchanges and Christmas stocking surprises. There were 4 1964 1/2s and 12 40% 1/2s, not too bad for a Saturday morning's good deed.
