Ice broke up after that cold spell

I went down the meadows hoping the ground was thawed out enough to MD,no such luck,still pretty hard yet.



We had a real cold spell for a couple days down to -12 at night,now the ice is on the move.



That grounds gotta thaw eventually,I just hope I didn't forget how to MD.

The lakes in the mountains you can hear the ice moaning and groaning at dusk when the temperature drops real fast. It'll make eerie sounding loud pops in the night that echoes of the cliffs.

It won't be long WT. Ice on our river has almost disappeared. I checked a cornfield that gets a lot of sun and it was thawed.
