Ice on the Upper Miss.

Here I am navigating south bound thru lock 16 on the Upper Miss. My last trip of the 2010 navigation season.

Beautiful shot on the baldy. I saw 2 a few years back sitting in a tree as I was going over the bridge from Iowa into Illinois.

That one of the bald eagle is a photo of a lifetime. Great job "saving" it for us to enjoy.
Interesting job you have. Been over the Mississippi a couple of times, but never on her.
Do you give guided tours.....like 300 or 400 kms worth?
I'll just bet you see a few interesting places that are worth going back to, to metal detect at.

Hello,
Where is lock 16 located? I take several motorcycle trips up and down the great river road and usually stop at the locks along the way. I've often wondered what it would like working on a river boat.
