Icicle Town

I like bein out in the woods alone at sunrise, floundering around in snow that could hide a tall giraffe, but I noticed some decent sights in town and took a few pics. This morning is clear, 11 below, and maybe a sunny day. It has snowed every day for the last week, givin us another couple of feet. Last Sunday, eastbound I-70 traffic was takin 4 hours to go from Silverthorne to the tunnel, only 15 miles, and for some a 10 hour drive back to Denver, 75 miles. I don't know if this is related to marijuana legalization. Year to date snow total for Breck is 128.4 inches, over 10 feet. More is on the way.

Isn't it a lovely, wonderful, winter wonderland. The icicles give the houses a classy look, especially with Christmas lights still up!

Well PB when I get rich and set up the El Rancho Grande Great Outdoor Camping Adventure Fun Time, All Welcome, Hammered can be the quartermaster and wrangler for that operation. You, you can be the irascible but lovable cook. Well irascible anyway.
