Found this hunting today in a field along with some arrowhead s. Does anybody know if it's just a rock or something else?

Not magnetic. Looks a little like iron to me. What did it sound like on the detector.

maybe hotrock looks like something was possibly wrapped around it or wore it down somehow.thats a guesser
