Elmers Glue ?

a few years ago I needed to Rig something.
I elmers Glued several Pennies together & after
I replaced the Handle,
I split the pennies & they appeared to be Double Struck
because of the indentations. I couldn't Distinguish
that it was Glue even Knowing it and even under Magnifycation.
do as DeKalb says first, to Rule this out.

Looks like glue...if this had been struck with a rag on the die the under lying details would not be so evident. A acetone or alcohol bath should reveal a regular strike nickel.
