Interesting 1879-O Morgan Silver Dollar - Strike Thru?

Hi all. I recently found this 1879-O Morgan Silver Dollar. Is this an actual Strike Thru? It looks like there was some type of wire stuck on the die when it was stamped. I am going to call her Madame X.

Looks promising. Is the deformity raised or recessed.

The wire or whatever it was is raised. You can see the difference on the profile & how a small piece is to the left. I am heading out on a 500 mile road trip today, so I cannot reply back again till tomorrow. Thanks for the reply.
