I was given some buttons the other day from a friends daughter, her dad was a good friend, I did post some of the buttons they gave me. Tonight I was given another button that I think is quite rare. The Great Western Railroad came through here in 1853, quite early, our first settler came in 1826 and set up a tavern. There many others that were in the area 20 years before that. So I think it was anice gift, I have a badge from the railroad as well as a Grand Trunk button, that rail line came in after the Great Western. The button needs a like care and cleaning, old Dick did not try and clean the little bit of crusting on the back. I think Creskol would be of great assistance on this, he is one of the best restorers when it comes to found artifacts. HH
