Interesting letdown box of halves

Had a '64 reverse ender and a 78S proof obverse ender and the load spitted out another 72S proof. Nothing else. Sure was a let down.

I have had boxes where I have not found a 40%, 90%, proof, or even a no FG. I have also had boxes that were 75% 1971. In my opinion, your box was a success - you found 1 silver and 2 other decent coins.

ya....seen a few boxes with enders that don't produce....its rare but it happens.

I've had 1 ender + nothing, 2 enders + nothing, worst ever was 3 enders yielded 4 total silver ugh!

i should be thankful, considering the face that I ran a 2 month skunk just before this.

On the side note, my bag deposit was shorted $15 halves. that lone '64 paid the way.

One or two means nothing, three is a pretty good indicator. Had a box with no enders give up 21.

This week and last, I have had 6 or 7 rolls with a silver coin one over from the end.

Ya i went through a box yesterday and all bicentennial i kid you not not one was silver or a plain old kennedy.

man, that's a disspointment for sure, i would think the box would have at least 10 silvers considering the ender rule which means for every ender, there should be 10 silvers...

p.s. usually for every ender I average 6-8 silvers, but once I had 1 ender and got 16 silvers, you never know.

My average/ender is very low, usually 2-4. However, my last 15 boxes have produced 25 keepers and no enders at all.

Ya that or drive half an hour out of your way to pick up a 1000 bag of half dollars because the bank had them available that day and was gonna ship them out and go through them just to find out that they were probably someone's dump. Not fun
