I bet it should not be long untill some one finds a I.D to your Soldiers Dog tag

WW2 German SS Dogtag.  Very Nice find!

Waffen SS started as Hitler personal guards but grew to over 38 unit, 950,000 men, during the war. They were Germanys "Elite" soldiers. That is a great find and I would hold on to it. Some types of SS dog tags are worth some good money....All SS tags are worth money, people even try faking them.

They shouldn't be collected, but be officially registered by the Red Cross. Otherwise you should turn for an ID to this adress.

The SFK was the Swedish volunteer force, but I thought they primarily spent their time in Finland.

Nice find Krichu! Would be nice to be able to return it to the family. I have an American Dog tag from WWII and I will seek the family members of it. HH, Mike
