Hi, my name is richard tinker. I live in Dallas, Ga. Have not detected in years, but expect to begin again soon. I have a Tesoro Royal Sabre and Bounty Hunter Landstar. I believe the Tesoro is the better of the two. I have always dug everything because I do not want to miss an iron meteorite. I have a few meteorites and am fascinated by them.

Welcome..... I too have a Tesoro Royal Sabre, think I got it in about '85 - haven't used it in many years but it does work. When I get out for dirt digging these days I lean towards the Tesoro Tejon.

Hi Antmike. I think Georgia has the most stringent laws about metal detecting. Quite a process to go through for reporting.
