Hey... be careful down there, i heard the Keys were just told to evac. I was just there last month.... 1 lane out of there is not conducive to leaving quickly. Be safe!

You shoulda already be boarded up and preparing to go, too! They're telling the tourists to get out.
Many don't realize, when that one road clogs..... oh Dog, it can take an entire day or more.....
(Hotel in Islamarado knocks on the door one yr, stuffs a handful of cash in my hand and says: "GET OUT". Lol, I forget which hurricane now..... We packed, then left at 2:00am, not a bit of traffic).

Car is full, wallet full, fridge and freezer full, propane tanks full, gas canisters full/stored, coolers ready, all but 3 shutters down, just gotta pack the car tomorrow, turn off large propane tank, turn off the water main (maybe I'll just disconnect the hose holder, gfotta wait to decide). I'll know tomorrow (Wed) night, whether I pull up stakes Thurs or Fri morning, real early.

Probably gonna hafta buy the generator in Georgia to bring back.
Looking for one of them Honda quiet ones......

If it passes over the mountains in Cuba, it will slow it down to a Cat 4, but the keys and US1 bridge highway being the only way out, is not the place to be.
Please be safe and heed the Evac notice.

Ocala is right smack in the middle of Florida, and I heard this storm is 460 miles in diameter. If that storm runs up the middle of Florida it might not start to fall apart till it hits the middle of GA, in which case ocala might see some very, very strong winds.

If some stay despite noaa warnings, at least board up the windows, hide behind a concrete wall, and do some praying if you are so inclined.
