I went to the County Park which is approx 2 blocks away from home. Anyway I started swinging with mode All Metal in the Concrete Pic- Nic Tables area. I grided the area for it was real trashy. I was there for two hours and did not finds any clad, just a bunch of pulltabs, aluminum foil, and some iron. The only interesting find was an aluminum medal of Saint Benedict (found its history in the link below). Still got 9 more grids to clean up of its trash hopefully I'll find something of value in the future, still looking for the GOLD!!!

catholic patron saint medal ---when you "become" a catholic you are asked to choose a patron saint and a "name". mine is st martin --- a warrior monk who helped the poor--one of the few saints with a sword---Ivan

Cool medal. I like that it looks very old in design, kinda like a Spanish Real.

this medal is said to have great powers over demons from hell---its concidered very blessed---the church in 1880 granted the sole "right" to produce the metal to the monte casino monastry (it was heavily bombed in world war two)---it is home monstary of the "order" of the saint---- as such it is very special----look at the web site above the picture of it---there it explains the latin wording on the medal and what its means----a very nice and rather "special" find---Ivan

That's a very nice looking medal 55,lot's of detail....Closest I've come is part of a rosary, still looking for a nice religious medal to add to the collection....Congrat's and HH!!

Seems like alot of people are "losing their religion" lately! I found about a half dozen of them this year..nice design and detail in that one.

That's right Nat, about people loosing their religious medals. I've been here in Tnet since Feb. and I've seen quite a few religious medals on posts.

How many times you gonna tell us, oh yea get out the dictionary b4u start using the word "grid"

oh the finds look so good in the shape of a cross

Yes El Frito, We Darn Mexicans Do Need A Dictionary, check your vocabulary also, and no I don't live in no upscale neighborhood this post office worker works at the post office.

I am sorry bandit...

I know noting of your parks and grass, perhaps it is when my family immigrated to America we learned to speak English, after all this is an English speaking country, do you think Mexico would change their language to help Americans...i think not...

So you actually have a postman that goes from house to house, that is very nice, you must live in a upscale area
