Hello, I found this iron bar in my backyard about 10" down near the bank of the creek that runs behind my house in NJ. My development was built in 1965 on an old farm, there was an old farm road next to the creek at one time.

I am trying to find its age and identify what it is.

Here are the particulars:

its iron
Exactly 6" long by 1"wide
it is curved or bowed
it weighs 0.45 lbs.
On the AT Pro it rings up at 04 VDI

thanks

You probably dug up your property line stake, now you can't prove how much you own and you'll have to move.

As crusty as that thing is, you may not see any holes. I see two spots that could potentially be where rivets were (are) but until it's cleaned, you will never know.

Thanks for the links. my fingers are crossed for DETECTORISTS as well. Great writing on that show.
