That's a cheap version of the ACE, made in China and sold in Italy. Imagine using this detector, calibrated for US coins, Icons for US coins, yet sold in Italy where the currency is in euros. Somebody is not playing with a full deck..... :violent1:

Its a piece of junk but garrett could learn something from this unit. The volume level is adjustable!
Hmm I wonder if it sounds like a ace as well?

Yes it does have a volume controll...................... and like some Minelab's.......... The cable that runs from the coil to the power box runs up inside the shaft ..... It also has a deep seeking all metal mode in it..............I don't want you guys to get all upset but i do use these China detectors now and then ......But i always end up selling them................ And they have good depth and work very good...................... And most of our top brands have a lot of China in them..................

note to chinese -- n de puture prease urn engrish plopperly -- if your going to export your knock off crap to english speaking countries at least learn to properly use english in your packaging, instructional booklets and when labeling items.

A Hunting-buddy of mine has one of these. It's his first detector and he's satisfied with it so far. Supposedly the performance is similar to my Ace 250--I've held it (kinda' heavy!), but I'm not too keen on hunting with it (I'm afraid I'll miss something).

Most of the manufacturers are cutting costs on materials but don't reduce the price we gotta pay. Then they wonder why we stop buying their junk.

I believe in freedom of choice, BUT, for me, its "Be American, Buy American" Let the Chinese buy Chinese detectors!

May be you guys are all wrong. It may be a wonderful Chinese invention that detects slivers, such as wood. :sign13: How clever!
Sorry, I couldn't resist that, and know I should behave being a rookie to Treasure Net.

I would love to try it to see how well it works, and it may be fast and as deep as the ACE series, but the big problem: If any little thing breaks, it is a throw away unless you know an electronics geek.

Just try to buy a detector that has all parts made in the USA .... I don't think you will ....... All your american made detectors have China parts in them...........As much as you say i won't buy made in china............ You can't get away from it.......Parts in your detector are made in China.......

When all metal detectors and other things are made in China, all our hopes will be dashed, not unlike our hopes of finding the last silver coin.

Smudge...... I have garretts & Minelab.............. But these China detectors work just great ...But like ...................biggstille............... said when they break down you just have to buy a new one...............No place to get repairs.............. But the new one would cost you less than the repair bill for our detectors ... Unless you use a Tesoro......
