Thanks for having my back guys. To me it's obvious that is was worked and discarded because they couldn;t get the stacks off of it. I think having a states collection and having artifacts from the east coast were you see rough materials like Rhyolite, Feldspar, Quartz, etc used helped me see it too.
 
I concur as well. Crude for sure but it is definitely worked. Maybe even an exhausted large piece, and that ridge isn't a stack.
 
Like all the others have said, it's a crude point that just did not get finished.
 
Looks worked in the one side shot. Where I live the resources are almost all rough and hard to work, along with few thousand years in the surf or pond sand sometimes tool marks are gone. HH
 
If it was larger it would of been the rite shape for a Guilford ax
